I was cleaning up my Lightroom catalog and saw that it had been a year today since I took the above picture. I had gone down to the beach in Galveston to catch the sunrise behind the ferris wheel, and walked away from my camera because I heard a car alarm. When I turned around I saw my camera on the tripod and snapped this shot with my phone so I could send it to my wife. It ended up being one of my favorite shots of the day.
After that I decided to start snapping shots of my camera with my phone while going out and shooting pictures. For fun I figured I’d post some of them to recap some of the the places and things my cameras and I have seen from the past year.
That’s all for now. Enough looking backwards. Time to start looking forward to what’s in store for this year.
